The Most Expensive Honda In The World

The most expensive car in the world of Honda has to be   the new hybrid Honda NSX-R GT, it will cost you a whooping half-million dollars. It is going to be exclusive because Honda is producing only five of this model. The forerunner, Honda NSX or Acura NSX in North America and Hong Kong sold at $160,000 which was produced between 1990 and 2005 by Honda. The new Honda NSX-R GT concept was introduced at the GT championship in Japan based on the GT racer. It is guaranteed to top the new breed of GT performing sports cars.

The NSX-R GT is powered by the 280 horsepower, 3.2 liter all aluminum V6 engine still featuring Honda's proprietary VTEC system (variable valve timing and lifet electronic control), like the NSX-R with a few new features. There are few carbon-fiber parts which guarantee better handling and makes the car look like a Transformer. The rear window has a huge air intake reminiscent of the 1970's racer style, a front apron and an under-body diffuser. Honda NSX-R GT was produced in August 2005.   The NSX-R GT was more agile, responsive and a faster limited edition of the NSX-R. It was created to comply with Super GT production-based race car homologation requirements.

Many believe that there not much difference between the NSX-R and the NSX-R GT, technically, although a non-functional snorkel attached to the roof of the car. The snorkel become functional during car races because it feeds outside air to an individual throttle body intake plenum. It has lowered suspension and widened body but lighter than the NSX-R. The NSX-R GT is a modification to incorporate daily drive-ability of the car, rather than GT performance only. It was known as the everyday supercar.  Taking the cue from the forerunners of the new Honda NSX-R GT, Honda has reinforced its superiority in the futuristic designs of the sporting cars.
