The Koenigsegg Trevita is the numero uno for this year's most expensive car. This car which means three white in Swedish is based on the famous mouth watering Koenigsegg CCXR. So if you have an extra $2.21 million dollars and have bought all the Louis Vuitton bags and Cartier home bedding accessories, why not consider buying the Koenigsegg Trevita. This is currently the most expensive four wheel automobile that is on the road and in production. We won't compare these expensive car prices with those antique cars which are for private collection and park in a gigantic bookshelf for show. But this Koenigsegg Trevita is now going for $2.21 million which is currently the record for the most expensive car that is on a car catalogue. And buyers please note, there are only three of these in the market!


The Trevita sports a new white carbon fiber bodywork, a hydraulic lift system, tyre monitoring system, chrono instrument cluster, paddle-shifters and carbon fiber brakes. Everything else is quite similar to the Koenigsegg CCXR. Although the Koenigsegg Trevita may be the most pricey car now, it is still not as fastest car in the world. It is able achieve speed of up to 250 mph, but still lags behind the Bugatti Veyron.

If you have some extra cash, say about $2 million dollars (you might have some change after paying for insurance and taxes), you might be able to own the next most expensive car in the world.  The Bugatti Veyron price apparently does not deter many people from owning it because the demand has never been met by the yearly production of 50 cars per year. 6. A set of the Bugatti Veyron tyres cost $25,000. A set of regular tyres made in Japan cost $500.

The most expensive car in the world of the Lexus

One of the most expensive car in the world of Lexus is the Lexus LFA. Lexus in their pursuit of excellence was not able to develop a real sports model that has the capacity to compete on the planet of exotic sports cars like the Lamborghinis,Ferraris and the Porsches. The majority of the Lexus cars was made for the comfort of the typical family man and senior executives and has pride itself for developing the most quiet engine. But in the year 2000, Lexus started the genuine sports car project to show off the prowess of it's parent company, Toyota. Until now, what we see is the prototype of the LFA. But this year, Lexus annouced it would start production of this supercar. The LFA will run on V10 engines. This Lexus is priced as a whopping US$500,000.

The Lexus LFA boasts an 4.8-liter V10 with 552 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of torque. Lexus engineers claims that 90 percent of the LFA’s torque is available between 3,700rpm and 9,000rpm. Power is sent to the LFA’s rear wheels via paddle-shifted six-speed Automated Sequential Gearbox. Set low and back in the LFA’s chassis, the unit adds up to to the car’s nearly ideal 48:52 front-to-rear weight distribution. Lexus has depended to a great extent on stream-lined materials for almost every element of the supercar. Aluminum was initially intended for the LFA’s design however engineers at some point made a decision to employ Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic for the car’s chassis and body. Lexus says the Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic is four timesmore robust than aluminum and saved 100kg in weight.

The LFA showcase a Carbon Ceramic Material brakes that are both lighter than steel and more fade less easily. In total, the LFA weighs about 3,300 pounds. The net result of Lexus efforts is a vehicle that can boost from 0-60 in just under 3.7 seconds, with a claimed top speed of 202mph. There is maximum output of 20 units to be made per month and overall production to be limited to merely 500 units. The LFA will be highly tailor-made, with customers allowed to select from 30 paint designs or delete usual accessories such as the car’s audio system.
